PROCESS

All rooms begin with a base layout for floors and walls, from there the floor is raised to create the elevated platforms that you see featured in some room designs. Next, windows are added and tiles of the walls removed to allow outside light sources through the windows. Once lighting has been set up, basic furniture is built and added to the scene, walls, floors and furniture are textured, followed by cushions, coffees, Ipads, knives and any other accessories used to decorate the scene.

To create the flat, isometric look, all scenes are rendered using Cinema 4D's "Parallel" camera setting.

Once all items are added to the scene and lighting and shadows are adjusted it is ready for rendering.

The rendering process can take upto 45 minutes and builds the scene using all the colours, materials and lighting that you have added. The image is then moved into Photoshop where colours are adjusted along with the contrast and things like extra textures, sharpening, light rays, and other effects take place.
